Privacy Policy

Mane collects only what it needs to deliver the app experience. This includes:

• Account info — your Apple ID identifier (used for sign-in) and an optional display name.
• Onboarding answers — hair concern, duration, age range, family history, and selected treatments.
• Routine data — treatments you track, daily logs, and streak history.
• Progress photos — photos you take within the app, stored securely in your private cloud folder.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events like screens viewed and features used, to improve the app.

Progress photos are stored in a private, authenticated storage bucket powered by Supabase. Each user’s photos are isolated by their account ID. Photos are only accessed by you and, when you request an AI analysis, by our analysis service. Photos are never shared with other users or used for advertising.

When you request a photo analysis or coaching insight, your photos and/or routine data are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. The analysis results are stored in your account for your reference.

Mane relies on the following services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase processing.
• PostHog (EU instance) — anonymous product analytics.
• Anthropic — AI-powered photo analysis and coaching insights.

Each service processes only the minimum data required for its function. No data is sold to third parties.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data (including photos) at any time from the Profile tab in the app, or by contacting us at hello@bysim.studio.

You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or request deletion by emailing hello@bysim.studio. We will respond within 30 days.

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
